Visual Storytelling Learning Outcomes- AO1

1. Appraise the issues relevant to visual storytelling in various contexts

Within visual storytelling, there are many different issues facing each aspect. For example, before creating a storyboard, you need to know what it will be used for. If it is to use in an important pitch, it should be as well thought out and visually attractive as possible. If it were to be used in-house as a visual reminder more than anything else, it wouldn't need to be so highly rendered.

Equally, if the image is promoting a product to the public, it needs to be highly polished and well rendered, yet if it is a working-drawing or speedpaint, the quality of finish is less important.

The quality of visual storytelling images all depends on the intended audience.
